While social media isn't any kind of barometer for actual acting success or talent, it does play a role in casting for studios because it goes that the larger the social media presence, the larger the fanbase for that particular actor.

Social media ranking and analytics firm MVPIndex pulls data from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and tracks engagement and discussion on any given actor and formulates a methodology that spits out a ranking of where each actor is.

Although she's best known for Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown is now ranked ahead of Will Smith and Kevin Hart in second and third place respectively, while The Rock sits in fifth place while Brown's co-star in Stranger Things, Finn Wolfhard, is in sixth place.

Just to get some figures on the whole thing, a Valentine's Day post by Millie Bobby Brown to her boyfriend Jacob Sartorius managed to rack up 4,900,000 - that's 4.9 MILLION - interactions on Instagram with over 330,000 comments.

So, yeah, don't be in the least bit surprised if Millie Bobby Brown is suddenly cast in something like Star Wars or the like.
