And now for some not so happy news. Sporty Spice has split from her long term boyfriend Thomas Starr.
As reported by The Sun, Melanie Chisholm - known to us as Mel C - has ended her relationship with the father of her three year old child, Scarlett. The pair shared a house in North London together, and have been together ever since meeting on holiday ten years ago. This news comes as quite the shock given that the pair had only just been discussing the possibility of adding to their brood back in May.
'I'd love to have more! I definitely like to have at least one more but yeah you never know what life holds so that's something I'm hoping for in the future' said the former Spice Girl.
When asked whether she'd ever marry Thomas Starr, the star replied to BANG showbiz - 'Nope, no change there. We're very happy the way that we are. We have talked about it but we're cool, we're happy where we are.'
The break up has been confirmed by her spokesperson however we are still waiting on a statement from Mel C herself.
We guess she'll be busy enough to get herself through the first few months of adjustment. Currently she's working on a new studio album - Stages - featuring a duet with fellow Spice girl Emma Bunton and she'll also be working on Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar for which she stars as Mary Magdelane.
