The only way Brian McFadden can get into the press these days is by doing something reckless and borderline aggressive, fast making him Australia's answer to Lindsay Lohan.
The former Westlife member/father of two of Kerry Katona's kids/Delta Goodrem's alleged fiancé was quizzed by police in Sydney after he repeatedly acting the maggot on a flight from LA yesterday. He was travelling business class on a Virgin flight when he reportedly lashed out at staff and berated fellow passengers. According to the Sydney Herald Sun, the star even tried to spark up during the flight.
The incident was reported to ground staff and McFadden and fellow Australia's Got Talent judge Kyle Sandilands were quizzed upon landing Down Under. A spokesperson for the Australian Federal Police says, "The AFP can confirm it responded to a request from Virgin Airlines to attend a flight, which was arriving at Sydney International Airport. The AFP attended the gate when the aircraft arrived and spoke to Virgin Airlines staff. Two men were subsequently spoken to by Police. No formal complaint was raised by the airline carrier, Virgin, to the AFP. As a result, the men were released without charge, and no further action will be taken." The usual, so.
Once the pair left the airport, McFadden and Sandilands were forced to face the press to explain their run-in with cops. Asked if he lit up during the flight, McFadden, with a smoke hanging out of his gob, said: "I don't smoke. Lighting up on a plane is illegal, isn't it?" They then headed to a nearby shop for "pies and ice creams."
Rock 'n roll, Brian. Rock 'n roll.
