Margot Robbie has revealed that she needed a dialect coach for the series that gave her acting career a jumpstart, ‘Neighbours.’

Robbie, who earned an Oscar nomination for her performance in ‘I, Tonya’ last year, told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on ‘This Morning’ that she needed a coach because her accent was actually too Australian.

“That is true, my Australian accent was too strong, even for ‘Neighbours’,” she informed the baffled TV presenters. “They had to soften it a little bit.”

The actress went on to talk about how her accent is more “diluted than it used to be” after living in England and having an English husband, who she now lives in America with.

Robbie also spoke extensively about her upcoming film ‘Terminal’, which she stars in alongside Mike Myers and also produces.

She talked about how she found the script for the film on her kitchen bench while living with friend and director Vaughn Stein. They made the film two and a half years ago (before ‘I, Tonya’) and it was the first movie they produced.

Margot Robbie will soon start work on Quentin Tarantino’s new movie, ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’, which she stars in opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt.
