Madonna bares something other than a body part during Berlin performance.

Finally. Madonna gets it. True, she was still crawling about on all fours in a bra with her tights hiked up where no tights should go, but she got it. She got the fact that the only way a 52-year-old can sing Like a Virgin is to make it the most forlorn, Dietrich riddled depress-fest going. 

Upon first reading the headline "Madonna breaks down during a performance of Like a Virgin" I guffawed incredibly loudly for a rammed semi-conscious DART. Then I watched the video, and got a bit bored (it's over six minutes long), but I also got a bit emotional. Then I remembered the riches beyond her wildest dreams and the fact that she's probably one of the most contrived people alive today and soon copped myself on.

But, for one fleeting moment, it was just very powerful to see Madonna acknowledge her years in that way. Then the half nude bloke came on and did that thing with the corset and tarnished everything with 'overkill'.  Although the overkill did start with the theatrical sobbing and emotive back of hand biting...

Ah well. At least it's a sept in the right direction.
