Lily Allen has taken to Twitter to share her experience of being discriminated against by a taxi man.
The pop star was attempting to get into a black cab with her children when she was abused by the taxi man and told to look elsewhere for a cab.
Just tried to get in a black cab with my kids. The driver looked at me and said , 'find an immigrant to drive you you stupid tart'

Allen has came under criticism on Twitter since her news appearance from Calais earlier this month in which she apologised to migrants 'on behalf of my country for what we've put your through'.
She hasn't let the incident get her down though. if anything she appears to have been galvanised in her beliefs.
Having lived a life of privilege, that interaction has given me a tiny glimpse of what it feels like to be discriminated against.

There is so much work to be done. But we can do it. Let's stamp out this stupid horrible ignorance together. #takeourcountryback

The incident hasn't stopped the criticism that's being levelled at her, with many questioning whether or not it actually happened.
I had both my hands full with children , couldn't get to my phone fast enough. https://t.co/waJ2GqYsYK
