Usually parents, when name their children have a theme. In the normal world, it's either names of a certain origin, like Celtic names, or writers' names etc. In the celebrity world, they're named after fruit, or blankets... This time, Kourtney Kardashian as gone against the grain. Mason, grand. Penelope, lovely. Then why go off the rails entirely with the third one?

Kourtney captioned the below: "Madly in love with my little Reign Aston Disick."

On the upside, at least he's already famous so most people tending hotel receptions desks will know how to spell it. Otherwise he'll have a lifetime of "And how to do spell that, sir?" ahead. If his parents had chosen to spell it 'Rain' or even 'Rein' (people are called Rein, its Nordic in origin), the pressure would be a lot less intense...

In Regin's case, however, it's English in origin and means sovereign or ruler, but it remains to be seen whether the decision of Kourtney and her partner Scott Disick leads to it becoming more popular among the US public, as was the case with their eldest son Mason, who was born exactly five years earlier.

We wait with baited breath.
