For those of you who willed it to be some kind of sick April's Fool's joke; Ronan and his wife Yvonne have confirmed their split. Fair play to them, they did try giving it another shot after the affair with the backing dancer, and the move to Australia, but now they've called time on their union.
Ronan Tweeted: "Sadly our news is true. Thank you all for your support. Yvonne and I still love and care for each other and want to protect our kids."
Yvonne said in a statement on Saturday night: "Sadly, our marriage ended late last year. We kept this news private to give everybody involved time to adjust."
It is thought that Ronan will make his move to Australia permanent, thanks to her role on X Factor Australia.
