Well, at least she's being honest, we suppose.

If you've ever watched (and scoffed/laughed/rolled your eyes at) 'Say Yes to the Dress', you'll be well aware that wedding dresses are a seriously objective topic. What one person adores, another wouldn't wear to do the housework.

So when Katy Perry threw a fair bit of shade at Meghan Markle's wedding dress, it shouldn't have come as much or a surprise, given the fact that she is a woman known for speaking her mind.

When asked by Entertainment Tonight what she thought of the Givenchy gown, she noted that she thought it was ill-fitting. "‘I would have done one more fitting,’ she said. ‘I’m never not going to tell the truth! One more fitting, but I love you."

She also said that Kate Middleton's Alexander McQueen was better, saying: "Kate, Kate, Kate won! Kate won!’

Perry at least had some kind words for Markle, the new Duchess of Sussex, when she praised her humanitarian work. "I’m so happy for them, and, you know, I don’t know them from Adam, but it’s amazing what she’s doing with all this, her humanitarian efforts," she said. "You know, the fact that she’s a proud feminist, I love all that. I support her as another woman and love her and wish them both well."
