Kate Middleton shows us some skin. Sort of.

FINALLY. She's done away with the tweed three piece suits a la her granny and gotten her leg out. Yerrrrr. Go on the Kate, showing us yer thigh.

OK admittedly when we came across reports that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton was spotted out revealing all in a thigh high split, we thought we'd see a lot more skin than is actually on show (this is what I was expecting) but still, it's nice to see her stepping outside her comfort zone.  Looking glamorous, somewhat virginal yet sexy although covered pretty much head to toe, the most watched woman in terms of style attended a private dinner thrown by the Thirty Club at Claridges last night with her beau, the future King of England.

This party was for members only, with some of the world's most powerful media people in attendance. Where was our bloody invite then? We're entertainment.ie, I dare say. Pfft.

Interestingly, Kate wears a Roland Mouret gown, which was actually first worn by former French First Lady Carla Bruni back in in 2010, although when Bruni wore it, it was teal, not cream.

And sure just to go all Trinny and Susannah on you, I might as well inform you that she chose to team this sultry number with crackled silver Jimmy Choo heels and matching clutch. Law-dee-dah etc.
