Prince William wants to have two children with the Duchess of Cambridge. That's what he's told some young fellahs in Singapore anyway.

The royal - the second in line to the throne over yonder Irish sea - and his wife landed in Singapore. on Tuesday. It's the first stop of their Asian tour (they're there to represent Queen Elizabeth during her 60th year Jubilee and strengthen diplomatic relations) and, weirdly, it's where William revealed his family plans.

The prince was taking part in a walkabout at the Gardens by the Bay attraction when he was asked by a young boy how big a family he would like.

He immediately answered: "Two". That's all he said. And now we're all taking about it.

The royal couple were greeted by over 3,000 excited people who had come out to greet them, waving flags and banners. In more pertinent findings, Jaz Heber Percy, 13, asked the pair what powers they would have if they could be a superhero.

William was a bit more reserved on that front, keeping his cards close to his chest, saying: "That's a hard question - I'm not sure. I'll have to think about it. I think invisibility."

Jaz - who should get a job reporting for the Daily Mail - also asked Duchess Catherine (that's what we're to call her now, no Kate Middi anymore) the same question, later telling the Daily Mail (see?): "Kate said she had to be invisible if Prince William was, otherwise he would be able to sneak up on her."

Jaz's friend, Charlotte Phillipson, 13, added: "She found it really tricky to answer."

Meanwhile, over stateside, Star Magazine already have Kate - apologies, Duchess Catherine - with child after she had her belt a little loose. This displeased Demi Lovato greatly. On the front cover of their latest issue they have Kate's stick thin torso with lots of arrows pointing to captions like 'EXPANDING WASTLINE" and "KATE'S ALREADY GAINING MOMMY WEIGHT AND LOVING IT!"

In response to the front cover, Demi posted on Twitter: "So apparently Kate Middleton (William?) is pregnant because of THIS picture... Are you KIDDING ME?!!... And people wonder why girls/guys have body image issues.. Whether she is or not, she still has a beautiful body. Shame on you Star magazine."

Hear, hear.
