Jon Bon Jovi's daughter arrested after heroin overdose...

19-year-old Stephanie Bongiovi was hauled off to hospital after being found unconscious in her dorm room at New York's Hamilton College.

SKY News reports: "Emergency services were alerted after a report that a female had apparently overdosed in Dunham Hall, the school's largest dorm. Officers sent to the dorm initially found a small amount of heroin and arrested Ian Grant, 21, also of Red Bank and a Hamilton student. Investigators obtained a search warrant for the dorm and found heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, leading to Bongiovi's arrest."

As a result, Bongiovi is facing charges of "possession of a controlled substance (that being heroin), marijuana possession and criminal use of drug paraphernalia" and both herself and Grant are due to appear in court at a later date.

Needless to say, Bon Jovi's reps and Hamilton College both declined to comment when approached last night.

As well as announcing the date in Slane, Bon Jovi's next gig is in New York's Time Square on December 5th.
