James Corden's under pressure following a horribly misjudged set at the annual AmFar Gala in Los Angeles.

The English comedian, who hosts the Late Late Show on CBS, went head first into Harvey Weinstein for his material. His opening joke involved it being "a beautiful night here in L.A - so beautiful, Harvey Weinstein has already asked tonight up to his hotel to give him a massage."

The rest of his set, all of which centred on Weinstein, earned groans from the audience and a significant backlash online. Here's a clip of the set in question.

As mentioned, the backlash against Corden's set was pretty instantaneous.

Corden has yet to issue any statement on his set. Meanwhile, Harvey Weinstein has become the second person in history to be expelled from AMPAS, the governing body of the Oscars, and is facing the very real likelihood of criminal charges and significant and potentially ruinous lawsuits from women he's allegedly assaulted over the years.
