Ice T and Coco at the premiere of Something from Nothing: The Art of Rap

While the rest of the world focuses their attention on today's release of The Dark Knight Rises, those among the rap community were busy celebrating the premiere of Something from Nothing: The Art of Rap which took place last night at London's HMV Hammersmith Apollo. Now don't get me wrong, we've loved bringing you coverage of Chris Nolan's latest movie and we will continue to do so, but for now let's take a little break to ogle at the wonderment of Coco Austin.

Ice T is the man behind this insightful documentary that sees him delve into the history of rap and also catch up with various members of the hiphoperati. Apparently it's very good. Mike's review will reveal all when it goes live later today. Anyhoo, as you all know, behind every good man is a good woman. For Ice, that woman is Coco. This pair are one of those celebrity couples that we just can't get enough of. Sure they're a bit naff, their choice of outfits will probably always remain questionable but they're clearly very much in love and given what suckers we are for romance, they get our stamp of approval.

Fabulous isn't she?

Also in attendance at this premiere was Pixie Lott. She wants us to think she was there because of her appreciation for rap but really it's just one of her regular reminders that yes, she's got the best set of pins (and probably hoop) in pop at the moment. Could this dress BE any shorter?

I'm a big fan of rap; my claim to fame is knowing the lyrics to Snoop Dogg's Aint No Fun off by heart (impressive I know). I also like knowing how to 'duggie'. However I don't think I'll ever be one to partake of their fashion choices. Dear Melle Mel, try as you might, this shade of grey, this pattern, these shoes and that hat will NEVER look cool.
