Christian Bale seems to have regressed to his character in American Psycho, Patrick Bateman, just ahead of the release of the biggest film of his career, The Dark Knight. The actor has been arrested in London for allegedly attacking his mother Jenny (61) and sister Sharon (40) at London's Dorchester Hotel on Sunday night. He was held for four hours for questioning at Belgravia Police Station in Central London, where he went by appointment to help police with their enquiries, then released on bail to a date in September, "pending further enquiries". A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "A 34-year-old man attended a central London police station this morning by appointment. He was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault." It's believed that Bale lashed out at his mother and sister in his suite at the swanky hotel, and the pair lodged a complaint at a station in Hampshire yesterday.
