Helen Flanagan causes outrage as she posts gun photo. Accused of 'brainless stupidity'...

Yes, eyes up, the focus is on the gun, and the fact she chose to repost this picture - originally shot last October - with the caption 'Head f**k.' Understatement.

An article published by the Daily Mail reads: "Helen Flanagan has caused outrage after publishing a picture of herself with a gun to her head - on the day the first victims of the Sandy Hook massacre were laid to rest... Twenty children aged six and seven, and six adults, were brutally shot dead in their classroom in Newtown, Connecticut, by gunman Adam Lanza, shortly after school began on Friday. In reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! the Coronation Street actress, 22, was ridiculed for showing off her figure at every opportunity. But her latest quest for attention has backfired as she was accused of 'insensitivity and brainless stupidity'."

Before Flanagan had a chance to remove the image, twitter was awash with comments such as "You are sick & should be disgusted. cannot believe your stupid gun photo."

An outraged father at the shrine to the victims in Connecticut added: "It's just ignorance when the eyes of the world are on what happened here, to be posing with a gun like that is insensitive and stupid."

Helen, we know you've got little else going on apart from underwear/bikini shoots, and that's appreciated, just don't try and make it mean something. Best leave the props at home next time. Failing that, perhaps read a newspaper or something before reposting. Fair enough, we're all looking at you in your bra - result - but the world now thinks you're a bigger twat than previously presumed.

Hypocrisy, it's ok for a big star like Rihanna to do it but then when a star that is not really liked does it, theres "outrage".

Yeah, but did Rihanna post a photo like that right after a school massacre, knowing it had just happened?

I can't believe people are outraged by this...should every picture of a gun be removed. Very little for the "head F**cked" people to be bothering about! They don't have a problem with allowing the blatant murder of thousands by the war machine under Obama and the UN control...yet some nut goes awol and IT is the end of the world! A few nuts are running this planet. SORT THAT OUT! Hold a vigil for THAT! it is HYPOCRITICAL of Obama to "pretend" shedding tears for the children yet go ahead bombing innocent children and families on a daily basis. easily distracted eh?
