Giuliana Rancic And Bill Rancic Expecting Offspring

E! Is one of those stations that is basically the television equivalent of being distracted by something shiny for half an hour. Generally speaking that's Ryan Seacrest's weirdly shaped forehead, or the shine from the expensive overly white dentures of whatever a-sexual male is presenting. Anyhow, one of the mainstays on the station over the years has been the actually quite natural Giuliana Rancic, who is expecting a baby with the walking Ken doll that is her other half, Bill Rancic.

Giuliana is recovering from breast cancer, having undergone a double mastectomy and the couple have tried every available treatment to get pregnant, finally settling on a "gestational surrogate," meaning the baby is theirs ... but another woman will carry the child. The couple told E! News "We are so thrilled that our prayers have been answered. We are ecstatic to be sharing this with everyone who has been following our journey." Their journey is being chronicled via the medium of reality television and their show, and they added afterward on The Today Show, "it was pretty much one of the best moments of my life if not the best moment of my life."

Congrats to the happy couple, who have been through the mill at this point. Ryan Seacrest tweeted his congratulations (because he melts in sunlight?) saying, "So happy for you G!! love u"
