Although we were kept waiting for what I'm sure felt for her like an ETERNITY, Katie Taylor now adds the title of 'Olympic Champion' to her already impressive list of accolades.

And can we also just point out that testament to just how much the world loves Katie, of all the events The Duchess of Cambridge could have gone to today, she chose to come and support our very own champion boxer, grinning from ear to ear as she was announced as the winner. Isn't that nice?

Fair play to ya Katie, you deserve it. Having conquered Russia, Tajikistan and Great Britain, what we're wondering now is... who's next? Any suggestions? Let us know who you'd most like to see Katie beat fifty shades of Bray out of.

Fair play to ye Katie! Livin' the dream! I've never been as nervous watching boxing. I agree with Diarmaid. She should have a Kate off with Kate Middleton. I'm sick of her at this stage. The Olympics are for sport not pointless celebrities.
