Would you look who's gone and put a ring on it, only to be overshadowed by 'aul Mags.

Frankie Sandford is engaged to Wayne Bridge, after making the announcement this morning. The pair - who have been dating since late 2010 - made the news public via Twitter and shared their excitement with their fans.

The 24-year-old star posted a cryptic tweet reading, 'Guess what?', alongside an Instagram picture of the happy couple.

The couple have been through a lot together since the sports star supported the 'What About Us' singer throughout her battle with depression and panic attacks in 2011. It was reported in January that Wayne was planning a romantic proposal and had even asked Frankie's father's permission before he popped the question.

A source said at the time: 'Wayne is crazy about Frankie. He has been for years. They've talked about marriage but Frankie didn't want to get engaged before they spent half a year living 6,000 miles apart (for work). But now she's back Wayne's planning a proposal. He's asked her dad's permission and he said yes instantly.'

Frankie is the third member of The Saturdays to get engaged, following in the footsteps of Una Healy and Rochelle Humes, who both got married last year. Does that mean a baby is on the way too?
