Sometimes I really wish I was Zooey Deschanel, particularly right about now given I got stung while on a crowded Dart this morning. Indeed it has been a strange morning. So there I am, halfway between Blackrock and Booterstown, happily commandeering a just vacated seat, and as I settled myself, something fell down the front of my dress. Something prickly. Fearing it was a spider (I always fear it's a spider), I plunged my hand down the front of my dress, much to the shock of my fellow passengers, located the foreign object, and flung it to the ground. I then peered at it. It was wriggling. The confusion was replaced with a searing pain lashing around my stomach. There he was, little knacker in his shell suit - a half dead wasp.
So now I'm in work, tanked up on painkillers and antihistamines, with an icepack on a very stingy belly, wishing more than usual that I was Zooey Deschanel attending the Fox All Star Party. Her dresses are always so pretty, as is her hair, shame she cocked up with the shoes... They say nude goes with everything, not here; she looks like a barefoot Tinkerbell. A black platform sandal would've toughened up this very girly ensemble. That's my two cents - which accounts for nothing considering I'm seeing double at the minute while trying to fight the urge to heave into the wastepaper basket.
Those being more adventurous with their footwear were Jayma Mays, Heather Morris, Cat Deeley, Naya Rivera, Ashley Fink, Jenna Ushkowitz, even Martha Plimpton had a bit of pewter pizzazz going on. Then there were the same old same olds - Nicole Scherzinger looking trampy because her stylist said so; Jonah Hill still standing like someone who's bearing several tonnes of weight despite him disappearing before our very eyes; Paula Abdul in a pantsuit; The Ramsays appearing to be "happily married"; and Steve Jones surreptitiously having sex with all assembled via his penetrative eyes - which is probably the saftest way to have sex with Steve Jones. Did I mention I'm madourvit and don't know what I'm talking about? That should cover that then.
