After the shocking images and videos coming out of New York, the fact that he's now been charged with assault, menacing and reckless endangerment, and the fact that this may finally be the moment that the public perception turns against him, you'd think that Conor McGregor might be feeling a bit low.

Not to worry, as McGregor's old pal Justin Bieber is here to help him out. Quizzed by TMZ on the subject, Bieber said that he thinks "Conor will be fine," and went on to say that "we all make mistakes."

Sure, but most of us don't end up having to fork out $50,000 in bail money because of it. Bieber, of course, is no stranger to trouble - but reports have it that his latest album will focus on Christianity and his new-found faith, so maybe he's hoping McGregor will give the whole Jesus thing a go when it all dies down?

Who knows, really.
