Step aside Val Kilmer. Your reign of being the subject of the creepiest news story this week has come to a premature end.

Uwe Boll, the visionary filmmaker behind classics such as Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne and Bluberella, was profiled by Vanity Fair this week. And in a bid to perhaps make sure that the interview reached a far reaching audience, the German born filmmaker revealed quite a creepy tidbit about himself and Jennifer Lawrence.

It seems that Boll once rented the house belonging to Lawrence's parents in Los Angeles and while there he slept in the Oscar Winner's old room. He also came across some interesting reading material - Lawrence's teenage diary.

“You should actually write that in the article,” Boll told Vanity Fair. “She doesn’t know it.”

Now reading anyone's diary or journal without their permission is pretty bad, but the diary of a teenage girl? That is just plain awful behaviour. It's the casual nature of the revelation that's the worst part though. The fact that he almost thinks Lawrence would find it funny to learn about it this way.

So to conclude, Uwe Boll - terrible filmmaker, even worse house guest.
