Depp and Paradis Confirm What We Already Knew...

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have split up. No, really, they have this time, they've just confirmed it for realz. Six months after everyone else knew about it. 

The couple - whose 14-year relationship has been rumoured to be in trouble for several months - have requested privacy, etc, etc.

A statement from their representatives read: "Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated. Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children."

News of the split comes just a month after it was claimed the couple - who have not appeared in public together for over a year - were "working on" getting their relationship back on track.

A source said recently: "For the first time in a long time, he is talking about her. They both want to make it work.'

And the 'Dark Shadows' star recently blasted untrue speculation about his relationship being over, saying "The rumours are not true. They are absolutely not true. No matter what I say about this, people believe the opposite. I can't say enough about it not being over."

Well, at least is wasn't a surprise to someone.

  I just hope Johnny and Tim Burton finally come out together, now that Vanessa is off the scene.
