It was just last month that she admitted that she had relapsed in her new song 'Sober', and now Demi Lovato is recovering in hospital following a suspected drug overdose.

The 25-year-old pop star was found unconscious at her home in the Hollywood Hills yesterday and was treated at the scene with Naloxone, a medication administered to people following overdoses.

Her spokesperson said that she was awake at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, releasing a statement that read: "Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support.

"Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy."

The lyrics of the aforementioned song 'Sober' include: "I'm sorry that I'm here again, I promise I'll get help / It wasn't my intention, I'm sorry to myself."
