It would seem, nothing is forever. Even the love between two diminutive souls that's spanned 30 years can't last.

The 67-year-old actor and the Cheers actress - who met in 1970 and tied the knot in 1982 - are splitting after 30 years of marriage, a representative for the couple has confirmed to one of Danny's biggest fans TMZ.

Danny and Rhea, 64, met when she went to see off-Broadway play, The Shrinking Bride, which the 'Twins' actor was appearing in. The couple - who have three children Lucy, Grace and Jacob, together - founded production company Jersey Films, which was behind such cult classics as Pulp Fiction, as well as Garden State and Freedom Writers. In 1996 fantasy film Matilda Danny starred as Harry Wormwood with Rhea portraying his on-screen wife Zinnia Wormwood.

Batman Returns star previously admitted his five-foot height may have felt like a disadvantage when he was a teenager, but it made him learn other skills to impress ladies.
He explained: "I learned how to dance real good. I had to, because [girls didn't want to] slow dance [with me]."

It is true to say that Danny's dancing abilities were "real good" at the start of his relationship with Rhea, as exhibited in Billy Ocean's When The Going Gets Tough video.

Then his skills began to diminish somewhat, along with the use of mind altering substances while wriggling to some reggae at Coachella.

This was followed by a brave attempt at standing while hanging out in the pit at Deadmau5 beside some bare breasted ladies (39 second mark).

Things took a real downward turn when he managed to tether himself to an equally petite blonde and attempted his much loved slow dancing, only to give up around the 2 minute mark when joined by yet another blonde for a gyrating three way. Which makes the headline 'Danny DeVito's wife was tired of his flirting' something of an understatement.

However, the demise of their relationship inevitably came when he got quacked ourrahvih' at yet another Coachella gig.
