Coachella Festival 2012: Hilton, Lohan, Perry, Hudgens, Kruger, Bosworth, Roberts, Bad Shorts...

It's that time of year again, when Vanessa Hudgens and Kate Bosworth march about a field, 'cause they having nothing better to be doing.

As ever with festivals, it basically boiled down to who could wear the most ridiculous get up / shortest shorts imaginable contest.

Hudgens was a contender for both prizes given her various outfits over the weekend. As was Katy Perry, but she managed to incorporate both looks into the one outing. The overall winner for the Most Ridiculous Get Up was Paris Hilton, with Emma Roberts coming a close second, and Tallulah Willis in third. Barefoot and dressed as ET. Not advisable for a festival.

As for the Most Eye-Watering Shorts, Bosworth kept hers tasteful enough, as did Latecia Hallady. We've already made reference to the Hudgens' infertility pants, but the bird hanging around with Workaholics star Blake Anderson entered Wonder Woman territory.

Those who fell into the 'Wow, That's Surprising' bracket included Fergie (she's covered up) and Lindsay Lohan - who managed to look, well, really nice. And clean. Apart from her footwear, and her phantom wang. Both of which I'm sure Gerard Butler managed to overlook...

Also featured: Lauren Conrad, Jared Leto, Chord Overstreet, Kellan Lutz, Josh Duhamel, Nina Dobrev, Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson... and Tupac in 3D.
