You’re probably well aware of our sentiments on Trump at this stage, and he hasn’t exactly been the most popular of fellas in the celeb world either. Still, it would now seem that he has the backing of none other than Oscar winning director-actor Clint Eastwood.

Clint's comments that we are ‘a pussy generation’ and that people need to ‘just f—king get over it’ are pretty much exactly what you’d expect the western legend to say.

In an interview with Esquire, Eastwood commented that Trump is ‘onto something, because secretly everybody's getting tired of political correctness, kissing up. That's the kiss-ass generation we're in right now. We're really in a pussy generation.

'Everybody's walking on eggshells. We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff.

‘When I grew up, those things weren't called racist,’ he said, and cited his wanting to do Gran Torino, a script his associate deemed good but politically incorrect, as an example of his disregard for all things PC.

Clint went on to say ‘[Trump]’s just saying what's on his mind. And sometimes it's not so good. And sometimes it's … I mean, I can understand where he's coming from, but I don't always agree with it.’

While he claimed he’s not endorsing him or anyone, and allowed that the presidential candidate has ‘said a lot of dumb things’, he also stated that he would vote for Trump over Hillary Clinton.

He thinks people need to ‘just fucking get over’ his racist comments.

We’re not so sure Clint.
