He's after getting his reality TV series axed. They've not elaborated whether his tweets from yesterday were instrumental, but the timing of it all is uncanny.

TBS announced that the Forget You singer's show, The Good Life, which focused on his attempts to juggle his careers as a producer, recording artist and performer, won't be returning for a second season.

Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that the decision was made due to poor ratings, but the news comes shortly after women's rights group UltraViolet petitioned the network to cancel his show after the 39-year-old star reportedly shared his controversial opinions on Twitter about the nature of rape.
 



Green apologised for the above tweets, before deleting his entire account. He's since subsequently reinstated his account and apologised further... Indeed it is hard to keep up. He used the rebirth of his twitter account to plug a video for one of his songs, so every cloud.

The singer pleaded no contest to one felony count of furnishing ecstasy to a female last week, after she accused him of slipping her the drug without her knowledge in July 2012. The former The Voice USA mentor insisted they "shared" the drug, and he also entered a special plea in which he maintained his innocence in the case.

The singer was placed on three years of formal probation and ordered to complete 360 hours of community service and attend 52 Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous meetings.

Prosecutors rejected a rape charge against him in October 2013, in relation to the same incident, citing insufficient evidence.
