Delta and Brian (Officially) Announce Split.

Brace yourselves, this is not an April Fool's prank. This is actually happening, good readers.

Pop singers Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem have ended their seven-year relationship. The pair have issued a statement revealing that they have called off their three-year (it did seem a lot longer) engagement and asking for privacy. You got it.

According to Australia's Daily Telegraph: "Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden regretfully announce that they are no longer engaged, and after much consideration have mutually decided to end their relationship. This decision has been made with a lot of soul searching from both parties (from opposite sides of the globe) with the realisation that they have grown apart ('cause living on opposite sides of the globe will do that to you. That and stories about getting gickered on planes and hanging around with Aussie mafia sorts can't help). They leave the partnership with respect for one another, wishing each other success and happiness for the future.'

30-year-old McFadden shared this on Twitter: "I love Delta and always will. She is one of God's living angels. I thank her for giving me the best years of my life. Please give us time x..."

... to get used to the idea of moving back to Blighty to be spend time with the kiddies? To drink some English tea, with the family, and watch football on TV?
