Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds - so are they married or wha'?

She doesn't really look like Scarlett Johansson, and Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson did break up ages ago - so why did police recently consistently refer to Blake Lively as Reynolds' wife during a recent NYC crime report?

Ah, said policeman was a "blunderer". Or he just doesn't have the time to keep up with his celebrity gossip, what with his career fighting crime 'n all. The Daily Mail reports: "the document was created after an officer attended their posh $2m Bedford Hills, New York on July 8 following a complaint by Ryan that he was being followed by a photographer. It says, 'Upon arrival, I spoke to Ryan Reynolds and his wife,' with the name of the individual in question blanked out"
The report went on to read: "They explained that this (blank) coloured vehicle was was (sic) observed outside their residence, and proceeded to follow their vehicle in an erratic manner. The (sic) believed that this individual was a photographer attempting to obtain pictures of them. Mr. Reynolds and his wife were advised to contact police should any persons enter their property."

While the couple haven't spoken out about the report themselves, lackeys close to them have "confirmed a blundering policeman had actually made an error when he filled out the paperwork." Repeatedly.

Sergeant Howly of the Bedford, NY Police Dept. took the time to tell HollywoodLife.com, "No one in the department can confirm whether or not Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are legally married or not. The officer that responded to the July 8 incident either made a mistake when referring to Blake Lively as the wife of Mr. Reynolds, an assumption or was indeed correct. We can’t confirm this."

They've been together since last October, so the likelihood of them being married is quite possible - they've already moved in together. Celebrity time is kind of like dog years, you see.

Interestingly enough, Blake missed the Met Ball on May 7th - which she attends every year - instead, Blake and Ryan headed off to the Napa valley and then "later visited his parents in Vancouver." Could this have been the time they got married?!?

There's no point in spending too much time puzzling over it, if they are hitched they'll be divorced in approximately two years.
