Berlusconi imprisoned for four years for being, well, Berlusconi.

C'mon, he's more of a celebrity than a politician of note - even he'd contest to that.

In case you're wondering what he's been imprisoned over; it wasn't the sex with the underage prostitutes at Bunga Bunga parties that got him, it was the tax evasion for which he's been on trial for since 2006.

The Express.co.uk reports: "Prosecutors claimed that Berlusconi and chairman of his Mediaset conglomerate (which has a super high-quality output...) Fedele Confalonieri were behind a scheme to purchase the rights to broadcast US movies on Berlusconi's private TV networks through a series of offshore companies and had falsely declared the payments to avoid taxes."

Don't feel too bad for Silvio, though, he probably owns the prison. All the guards are female and enjoy wearing tight fitting uniforms complete with handcuffs, whips and gunbelt garters.

  Appeal coming. I doubt he'll ever spend a night in jail. Jail is not for the rich - it's for the little people.
