We're still trying to get over certain news outlets referring to this bundle of cuteness as 'grumpy'. Perhaps it's a reference to his new post as this year's 'Grumpy Cat' meme, but still, he's only a 9-month-old nipper who's been hauled halfway across the world and put into a room filled with strangers and cameras. Either way, it just signifies the litany of labels he'll have to deal with for the rest of his days...

Right, mood killer over, let's have a wee hawk at how one of the world's most famous babies handled himself in the aforementioned situation. He chewed a bit on his Mam's hair cause he's teething, before having a bit of a loll/gnaw on her shoulder.

He shared a few toys with fellow babies, totally held his sh*t together when presented with a giant bear, and then went on a bit of a wobble, which is fierce impressive given he's not even reached double figures in months yet.

All-in-all not a bad day's work. Some people present were only too willing to providing a bit more background into the Prince's demeanour. Grant Collins, a dad at Plunkett, the support group for new parents, had this to offer via The Independent.co.uk:

"George is bubbly, quite feisty and he took control. He crawled to the centre of the room and he owned the place. He honed in on certain toys and took the ones that he wanted. No-one was going to stand in his way... We chatted to the Duke first and asked about how they and George coped with the jet-lag. William said sleeping and distracting (the baby) was the best thing to get over jet-lag and that's what they'd done with George. We spoke to the Duchess about group play - George had never played with so many babies before. She said it was the most amount of babies they'd ever had in a room with George. He does see other babies, but not many in a group like this."

Grant then saw fit to add: "We found out Lucas had more teeth than George so he's winning that race. George has got about four or five teeth coming through. Lucas has got his seventh coming on."

Oh, Lucas, daddy's going to be great fun on the sidelines in years to come...
