And The People's Choice Award goes to...

Awards season is a go. The 39th annual People's Choice Awards - celebrating all that the American public hold dear across the platforms of movies, music and TV - took place in LA last night, and we had the usual and not so usual list of winners. Taylor Swift, as ever, managed to grab herself one for Best Country Artist (take that, Harry, hah?!), and The Wanted also found themselves not short of a gong.

They won Best Breakthrough Artists ahead of One Direction (although the latter did take home an award for Favourite Song) As for The Hunger Games, well, they - specifically Jennifer Lawrence - won everything else. At least Twihard fans can comfort themselves with their nod for Favourite Fan Following.
