Man I feel sorry for John Travolta's wife. We all half assume he bats for the other team but it's neither here nor there what he's into, when it comes to our own daily lives. Rashida Jones, on the other hand, has rather strong opinions on fellow celebrities' sexual orientations. As per Radar Online, the actress publicly urged the actor to come out of the closet following the constant barrage of rumours that he is in fact gay. In an interview with spinningplatters.com, the actress spoke with her boyfriend and writing partner Will McCormack about her obsession with singer Frank Ocean who came out earlier in the year. McCormack said: "There needs to be, like, a professional athlete that comes out." At which point, Rashida chimed in: "And a movie star! It's time…Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let's do this." Jones went on to praise other people in the public eye who've made their preference known, before saying: "But big stars need to come out. Ricky Martin was huge. That was big; I was really happy about that." In Rashida's opinion, "people are so precious about their careers."

Interestingly, Rashida has since apologised for the comments above. The actress took to Twitter yesterday to say: "Made a thoughtless comment about John Travolta. I sincerely apologize. Nobody's personal life is my business."

Should she have apologised? Should Travolta come out? Or, is it none of ours or Rashida's beeswax?
