With Jason Statham currently starring in sea-set blockbuster ‘The Meg,’ this video of him diving in the 90s could not be more appropriate.
Before turning to acting, Statham had a pretty decent career as a professional diver. He even spent twelve years on the British National Swimming team and competed in the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland (though he never made it to the Olympics).
The video was first uploaded a few years ago but has re-emerged from the depths of the internet, probably because of ‘The Meg’, in fairness.
Statham is due to star in the highly anticipated ‘Fast & Furious’ spin-off 'Hobbs and Shaw' with Dwayne Johnson, Idris Elba and Vanessa Kirby.
