A new sexual assault allegation against Kevin Spacey is being reviewed by police in LA

It's been a while since we've heard news of any alleged Kevin Spacey-related wrongdoings, but while the actor continues to keep a low profile, it seems that the machinations of the law are still in process.

While Spacey is already under investigation in the UK for three separate alleged sexual assaults, it's now been revealed that a case is being reviewed by the LA County Prosecutor, too, after an assault was reported to them on April 5th.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department's Sex Crimes Task Force is reviewing the allegation made by a man - which dates from 1992 in the West Hollywood area - and prosecutors are considering a sexual assault charge.

No further details of the allegation have been issued and Spacey's reps have declined to comment.

The statute of limitations in California is usually 10 years, but it's unclear if it will apply in this situation.
