'You'll Neeeever Beeeeeat The IIIIIrish'... Fans.
Some German fans have been known to walk out mid match if their team loses. Some English fans have been known to boo their team when they don't perform well. Some Argentinian fans murder members of their national team when they score own goals.
What do we do? We sing our fecking hearts out. You see, you may beat the Irish team, but you'll never beat the Irish fans. You can't take that away from us Roy Keane.

Roy Keane is a scar on this country, he may be Irish-born, but there's nothing Irish about him. Yes our team are very poor, but no matter what they could've done last night, they were up against the greatest team in the world, no one expected any different. But those fans, total magic, even in the last 2 minutes of the game they stayed strong and did their country proud. As did Shay Given, he impressed me more than he's ever done last night, he was way off base against Croatia, but last night he brought his A-game, a couple of those saves were world class. So RK should either keep his mouth shut or put his money where that mouth is and come manage our team, garner us a few victories, let's see him do better.

Murder on the Gdansk floor (sorry thought it was funny!). I get where Roy Keane is coming from - he was driving at more the players shouldn't have been happy with their performace more than anything else. Fans were amazing though.
