Mr Tayto Opens Adventures Park!

Mickey Mouse has one, and now, so does Mr. Tayto. The man behind our favourite crisps has opened up his own Theme Park in beside the Tayto Factory in Ashbourne Co. Meath. Tayto Park boasts a state-of-the-art visitor's centre, lakes, an Indian Village, children's playgrounds and many other amenities and attractions.
The first thing that will greet visitors is a dramatic fairy-tale themed entrance hall, not one but two restaurants and the obligatory gift shop, all beautifully maintained. The surrounding landscape features impeccable lakes and fountains. Also contained within Tayto Park is an Indian village, containing six tepees, each of them adorned with the colours of a specific Native American tribe. Several different play areas are scattered across the park, catering for kids of all ages. The young kiddies will certainly be catered for, as well as the more adventurous 12-18 year olds who might seek some more advanced thrills!

The fun doesn't stop there. There is also a treehouse area. One of the treehouses can accommodate a whopping 70 people, and contains walkways and thoroughfares through the trees to the other treehouses. Continuing the nature theme, the park also features an area dedicated to the animals of North American, such as the lynx, mountain lion, various birds of prey as well as plenty more.
Tayto Park expects to attract up to 150,000 visitors annually. Not bad Mr Tayto, not bad at all.
