Dropkick Murphys

Dropkick Murphys command a serious ex-pat crowd when they play shows in their home state of Massachusetts but can they transplant this fierce loyalty to the motherland when they play Vicar Street on the 13th January? The answer, in short, is yes. The Dropkicks are an excellent live act, with their shows often punctuated by the excellent 'I'm Shipping Up To Boston', which you may remember from Martin Scorcese's The Departed (not to mention Forrest Griffin's UFC walkout music). Beware: it might get loud.
