Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra

jools

Jools Holland has become something of a musical institution thanks to his regular appearances on our TV screens over the years on his hit show Later...With Jools Holland, but there's a lot more to the diminutive pianist than just a TV host. Jools first shot to prominence in 1974 when his band Squeeze achieved success, but it wasn't until he went solo that his star began to surge. He entered TV lad next and, shortly thereafter, became a household name. Holland is one of the most accomplished jazz pianists around, and one hell of a live performer. These shows should be well worth investing in.
