Westlife - Coast To Coast
Review Date: 11 November 2000
Ireland's most misunderstood band strike out in a remarkable new direction on their second album, abandoning all melodies and traditional song structures in place of electronic psychedelia, layered guitar feedback and blistering white noise. This may well be commercial suicide but you just have to applaud the sheer audacity and creativity of.OK, just joking. The fact is, there really is nothing to say about Coast To Coast beyond the obvious: it's just another cynical collection of formulaic pop that looks and sounds like it's come straight from a boy band conveyor belt. Nothing more, nothing less. And if you don't know what you think of this sort of thing by now, you never will.

I loved this album it was the 1st one where they had up-tempo hits, and nearly 12 years on I'm still going to see them and I STILL listen to this album, the boys can do no wrong in my eyes :)
