Glasgow is fast becoming the indie capital of Britain and V-Twin are just the latest auspicious outfit to emerge from the city's fertile underground scene. In fact they're a kind of supergroup, with a constantly changing line-up including musicians from local heroes Belle and Sebastian, The Pastels and Royal Trux. This mini-album contains all their singles to date and is a dazzlingly eclectic affair, veering from Scottish country-rock to psychedelic rockers. Confusing it may be, but there's an authenticity and conviction about V-Twin that suggests their debut album proper will be well worth waiting for.
