One of the most hotly-tipped Irish rock bands of recent years, Turn's steadily-growing fanbase will not be disappointed by their debut album proper. As well as containing blistering versions of live favourites, it has plenty of more considered, darker love songs which show off the versatility of the Kells trio. At times they struggle under the weight of their glam-rock influences but time should see Turn develop that extra little bit of character they will need to truly stand out from the crowd. Well worth investigation.
