It's been almost ten years since Pearl Jam released their debut album 'Ten', and the band still refusing to allow the bullshit of the music industry to dilute their music, Pearl Jam have unleashed Binaural on us - definition: of, relating to, or involving two or both ears. Perhaps the fact that they have stuck to their roots is what makes this album sound so out of place, and in a world of full of jock-rock and noisenicks, it is perhaps what makes it sound so refreshing as well.
