As the Gallagher brothers are reported to be at their lowest ebb yet, releasing a live album looks like a rather cynical attempt to make another quick buck before calling it a day. Thankfully this double-CD offering, recorded earlier this year at Wembley, manages to catch the band on one of their better nights- and even goes some way to reminding you why they once seemed so important. The sound quality is good, the band give every impression of enjoying themselves and the crowd sing along to all the old anthems with genuine joy. Hardly an essential purchase, but not a bad note on which to end - unless they have one more surprise in store?
