Li'l Kim, formerly a rapper with the Notorious BIG, has been described by some as the black Madonna but this is only half true. The grim reality is that she has none of Maddy's virtues and all of her faults - simplistic opinions, overbearing vanity and a childish desire to shock. Here we get a succession of tiresome rants about oral sex, periods and interracial lesbianism, backed up by some truly insipid melodies. Angry teenagers might get something out of this record; for the rest of us it feels as stupid as it is pointless.
