The new album from country diva LeAnn Rimes sees her trying to expand her massive fan base even further with some awkward forays into dance music and a mawkish duet with Elton John. Musical credibility, however, looks as far away as before; her glossy voice and syrupy production make every song sound about as soulful and dynamic as Westlife covering Celine Dion. It's all very professionally done, but terminally bland, and there's something just a bit depressing about a teenager who sounds this prematurely middle-aged.
