Iron Maiden - Brave New World
Review Date: 13 June 2000
Yet another album of old-style metal from the band who are increasingly coming to resemble a camp version of the Rolling Stones. They thrash their instruments as enthusiastically as ever but no amount of noise can disguise songwriting this weak. Iron Maiden clearly have no interest in being fashionable and that's fine, but rehashing all your old material - what kind of example to that to give the kids?
