Faithless - Outrospective
Review Date: 13 June 2001
Rollo Armstrong could be forgiven for feeling just a little frustrated. As the leader of Faithless he produced plenty of innovative dance albums throughout the 1990s but now finds himself being best known as the brother of pop queen Dido. If anything, his is the greater talent and he proves it once again here with a diverse mix of soul and rap that takes in a maze of moods and dancefloor styles. Brilliantly assembled and produced, it's yet another accomplished record from the Armstrong stable - and even Dido herself makes a fleeting but memorable appearance on the standout track One Step Too Far.
