At last: the masterpiece that Belfast DJ / producer David Holmes has been threatening to make for years. It's a dark, thrilling affair, the sound of the streets distilled into a heady mix of hip-hop beats and psychedelic rock. There's also a string of guest appearances on vocals including Bobby Gillespie and Jon Spencer, who have rarely sounded better. Other producers have tried to make this kind of record but never as successfully as this. It's awesome.
